Dan and Wendy are the current, as well as second generation, owners of MWAMA. Wendy holds the rank of 2nd degree black belt and has been in karate since she was 3 years old. While Wendy's parents, Gordon and Shirley, have an emphasis on the history and traditional side of karate Wendy has a large focus on the competitive side of the sport. having started her competition run at the age of 3 she has a vast knowledge of modern sport karate. Dan holds the rank of 1st degree black belt and is a current competitor in traditional forms, weapons, and point sparring. Dan is also our lead instructor for our Little Warriors (3-6 yrs) program. He is full of energy and great ideas that engage the kids in this art while having a ton of fun! |
