Mountain Warrior Academy of Martial Arts, or MWAMA is a family owned and operated school with a large emphasis on families! The Mountain Warrior School of Karate was established in 1973 and is currently three generations strong. Embracing arts from around the world, MWAMA is rooted in the belief that ALL martial arts have something to contribute and that ALL arts should be respected. No one art is better or more important than another. We believe in diversity and openness in order to grow on our martial arts journey.

During the past year MWAMA has experienced tremendous growth with the addition of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Aikido, MMA, and Cardio Karate. We believe it is very important and critical for us to provide instructors to our students that specialize and have extensive training in their own field/art. For this reason you will not find our instructors teaching all of the arts we offer. Instead classes will only be taught by instructors specific to each art. We feel that we have the best staff of instructors for their specific arts right here at our school!

We invite and welcome you to visit us, view any classes that we offer, and even participate in a class in any art at no charge so that you can experience what we have to offer first hand!
